Mr. Mao obtained two bachelor’s degrees majoring in Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics and majoring in Arts in English from the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia in 2016.

Thereafter, Mr. Mao got a scholarship from Transnational Law and Business University in Seoul, South Korea for a Master of Law. In July 2018, Mr. Mao joined HBS LAW as an associate and was promoted to a senior associate in October 2020.

Mr. Mao is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Rights Practice Groups. He has been encompassed excellent experience providing extensive legal advice and assistance as well as drafting and reviewing contracts/agreements concerning intellectual property rights to many high-profile local and international startups and companies in a variety of industries including, but not limited to, an automobile company, clothing company, hotel and restaurant chain, and telecommunication company.
