Having obtained dual bachelor's degrees in law and education, Mey Mey embarked upon her legal career as an associate within the corporate and commercial practice group of a regional law firm in Cambodia in 2018. Subsequently, in 2021, she pursued an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law at Lund University in Sweden.

Following the culmination of her academic endeavors in 2023, Mey Mey integrated herself into the legal profession as an associate within a local boutique law firm, primarily working on general corporate and public policy matters.

Her professional experience spans a period of over four years, during which she has been extensively engaged in the provision of legal advice on various issues, legal research, drafting agreements, company registrations, applying for licenses and permits, providing corporate secretarial services, conducting legal due diligence, and various other tasks.
